A 33-year-old man was sentenced to five years in prison Monday for taking nude pictures of a 16-year-old boy on the River Walk in San Antonio, Texas.
During the trial, prosecutors presented the photographs that were confiscated on the morning that Benito Tovar and the teen were arrested after a tourist alerted authorities of the nude photo shoot on the River Walk. The black and white photos depicted the teen in various bizarre poses during different stages of undress.
After their verdict, jury members told reporters they never considered the photographs as art.
